Modified standout David Arute is set to bring some open-wheel flair to the Granite State Pro Stock Series during the Casagrande Builders 75 at Stafford Motor Speedway’s NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler!
All the action for the Granite State Pro Stock Series takes place on day one of Sizzler weekend — Saturday, April 25th.
Arute will make his Pro Stock debut behind the wheel of a Casagrande Builders-prepared Fury race car. With extensive experience at Stafford Speedway, he’ll look to capitalize on that home track advantage as he transitions back to full-fendered competition.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of a full-fendered car,” said Arute. “Huge thank you to Casagrande Builders, and to Rick and Corey Casagrande for giving me the chance to drive their car. I started my racing career in full-fendered cars before moving into open-wheel Modifieds. I know there’s still a lot to learn with the Pro Stock, but having experience on this track definitely gives me some confidence.”
Arute is optimistic heading into the weekend:
“I’m really looking forward to the Casagrande Builders 75 and believe we can be competitive right out of the gate, especially with the strong Fury race car the Casagrande’s have put together.”
He also extended thanks to those helping make the opportunity possible:
“Big thanks as well to Monaco Ford of Glastonbury & Niantic Connecticut, and Casagrande Builders. We’re all looking forward to the NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler weekend.”
A strong field of competitors has already pre-registered for the event at Stafford Speedway.
