Casagrande Leads Points Going Into Gate City 100 At Hudson Speedway



Current points going into the next event Sunday, July 15th at Official" Hudson Speedway in Hudson, NH.

Points leader Cory Casagrande has been a consistent top five car throughout the four events this season. "We've been running really well, still no wins yet but we are getting closer" Casagrande said. "I'm looking forward to the race at Hudson, it's where I made my pro stock debut." "There isn't much grip, it's really fun though, it should be an awesome race."

Part of a double-barrelled Maine contingent, Jacob Dore of Sanford, ME currently second in points, was running in the top 3 during the Seacoast 100 yet fell back to seventh. Third in points and leading by a straightaway when disaster struck [turn 2 impact after sliding through dropped oil], Joey Doiron of South Berwick, ME said "It was not the result we anticipated but, we will be working hard to return this car to race ready status for the next race at Hudson."

22 points behind the the leader Casagrande in fourth place is Abington, MA driver Nick Lascuola. "We've been quick in time trials and practice but just haven't nailed the long run." Lascuola said. "I'm really hoping to show how good my stuff is this weekend at Hudson."
