Points Tight Headed Into White Mountain
GRANITE STATE PRO STOCK SERIES PRESENTED BY SPRINGFIELD BUICK GMC
WALPOLE, NH.
Just 16 points separate four drivers at the top of the points standings through five rounds of the 2018 season. With a pass in the closing laps of the Gate City 100 at Hudson Speedway, Cory Casagrande of Stafford Springs, CT extended his points lead over second place in points Jacob Dore to a total of eight.Tied for third in points both Devin O'Connell and Nick Lascuola are coming off their best finishes in a pro-stock to date with a win for O'Connell and a second for Lascuola at Hudson Speedway in Hudson, NH. Both young drivers are looking to continue their success this coming Saturday July 28th, at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, NH.
Only two points behind the top four drivers is Joey Doiron of Berwick, ME. Previous experience at the ¼ mile track of WMMP certainly puts the odds in the #73's favor this coming Saturday night. Also coming off his best finish, Ray Christian III and the Crazy Horse team will be looking to stampede into North Woodstock, NH with high hopes. We would also like to welcome back the 2017 Rookie of the Year Scott MacMichael driving the 7x.
Going from the Hudson Speedway high banks to the ¼ mile 100 lap speed plant in North Woodstock, NH the WMMP staff is anxious for our arrival. “The Granite State Pro Stock Series presented by Springfield Buick GMC has always been a fan favorite here.” Manager David Avery stated. “They are very fast cars with highly talented racers and under the lights, you really get to enjoy their high speeds. We are expecting a solid field of racers to enter the event.”
