Bryan Kruczek One of Many Looking for Granite State Pro Stock Checkered Flag at CMP

WALPOLE, N.H. -- After a few weeks off, the Granite State Pro Stock Series roars back to action this Sunday, May 30, at Claremont Motorsports Park, with a Memorial Day special. As part of a full Sunday evening of racing, which will also include a special 60-lap Mini Stock madness event, Quest for the Cup double-feature races for the NHSTRA Modifieds, NELCAR Legends, Six Shooters, Pure Stocks and a 4-Cylinder Enduro, fans will have a little bit of everything in New Hampshire.
The Pro Stock portion of the evening will include multiple series champions and feature winners in competition, with the championship battle starting to take form with three of the 15 races complete. Angelo Belsito leads the standings by just six points on Devin O’Connell, while Gabe Brown sits third, eight points back. All three drivers are expected to compete on Sunday evening at Claremont.
Another driver expected is the Bobby Webber Racing pilot Bryan Kruczek, who will be driving the familiar No. 19 -- the same car he went to Victory Lane with in the last Granite State event at Star Speedway on May 8. Unlike some of his competitors, Kruczek has never stepped foot on the property at Claremont Motorsports Park -- one of New Hampshire’s trickiest race tracks. He will hope to become a quick study of the oval to be a major contender.
“I’m pretty excited to try a new adventure and hopefully get the team back to Victory Lane when we head to Claremont,” Kruczek said. “I’ve never been there before, but I’ve been watching enough videos that I get how the track races and I think it looks like a fun place. It definitely has a unique line to it.”
Kruczek proved at Star that he has the speed to get the job done, driving from the back to the front multiple times in the same race en route to victory. At Claremont, he hopes to make his job a little bit easier -- by qualifying and running up front for the entire 100-lap distance.
“Not having to chase points this year is much less stressful, and more fun for our whole team,” Kruczek said. “The goal is just to win races and it gives us the ability to hit the reset button whenever we feel it’s needed.”
Additional entries for the event include Casey Call, Josh King, Tyler Tomassi, DJ Shaw, Derek Gluchacki and more.
Adult tickets are just $25 for general admission, with seniors (65+) set at $20, and children 6-12 just $5. Any children ages five and under will be allowed free general admission. A full schedule will be available soon, but fans can expect the first green flag to fall at 4 p.m. with Pro Stock time trials.
